Dear Esteemed Colleagues,
On behalf of the Japanese Association for Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery (J-MICS), I would like to warmly welcome all of you as we gather in Osaka for the ISMICS workshop between November 8th and 9th.
One of the primary missions of J-MICS is to foster close collaboration with esteemed MICS societies worldwide, particularly in Asia. This workshop presents an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and forge strong partnerships for future collaboration.
We have curated engaging programs focusing on endoscopic, robotic, and transcatheter procedures, including live surgeries and hands-on sessions.
Osaka's rich culture and history offer a vibrant backdrop for our meeting. I encourage you to immerse yourselves in the local cuisine and attractions as we share ideas and learn from each other.
Welcome to Osaka! I hope you have a memorable and enjoyable time here.
With warm regards,

MICS Valve Simulator Training
We are organizing a dry lab using the MICS valve simulator.
The simulator is the latest model developed by Dr. Gianluigi Bisleri from Toronto, which is also used in the AATS hands-on sessions.
Their original 3D-printed mitral valve disease models offer realistic experience including chordal reconstruction with water injecting test. Aortic valve replacement is also available with this model.
Karl Storz 4K-3D endoscopes provide excellent visualization.
The instructors are experts from both domestic and international fields.
We look forward to many participants.
